We welcome volunteers to assist in a wide range of practical tasks, including gardening, animal care, general building and dry stone walling.
Volunteers who have more experience and skills in the areas of horticulture or equine care are greatly appreciated to assist with our 'Down to Earth' and 'Riding High' projects, alongside our young people.
We are able to collect you from Grindleford Train Station if required and travel expenses up to £10 can be reimbursed.
If your workplace offers time off to volunteer, or you are part of a group who would like to give some of your time, we can arrange a 'Volunteer Work Day' for you. These usually consist of a day working on a pre-arranged project with a BBQ for lunch (using our own meat & produce) which we provide at a small cost per person. Other refreshments are provided free of charge throughout the day.
